The Soccer Tots program is an opportunity to introduce your child to soccer, group activity and to get them on the pathway to enjoying physical activity.
The idea is to introduce children to soccer by developing their motor skills, ball skills, listening skills, while playing fun games and engaging in activities with a soccer ball.
Kids like activities that are fun!
We have found that kids are more attentive, eager, and develop faster in this type of environment.
The children are divided into coed groups and our experienced staff trainers will lead the age-appropriate group activities. There are no competitive games, no losers. All winners!
The success of our programs today is found not in treating children like mini-adults but in offering an age-appropriate soccer experience in early childhood, that allows them to find their passion and stay in the game long enough to actually get good at it.

The WHO
Which ages are eligible to register for MLU Soccer Tots?
The Soccer Tots program is for children ages 3 and 4, pre-school age children.
If your child is age 3 , and born in 2019 they are eligible to participate.
If your child is age 4 , and born in 2018 they are eligible to participate
If your child is age 5, and born in 2017 and not in kindergarten , they are eligible to participate.
Non-residents from the area are welcome to register.

Where will the Soccer Tots meet?

There are sanitary facilities available.
The WHEN
Coed sessions- 8 weeks, 45-minutes in length, on Saturdays 9:15 am , 10:15 am time slot is full , 11:15am
You will choose one of the time slots above upon registration for all 8 weeks.
You may only attend the session to which you are registered

All sessions are outdoors in the Spring and Fall and subject to change/cancellation due to field and weather conditions.
We most often offer Soccer Tots in Spring, Winter, and Fall.
The HOW
Uniforms and Equipment:
A jersey, socks, and a size 3 ball are included with the registration.
Uniform pick up will be provided beginning 20 minutes prior to your session time at Laurel Acres Park.
Parents will provide shin guards and a water bottle for each session.
Shin guards are required because they offer protection for your player if they are accidentally kicked by another player. It happens! But does not hurt so much if you are wearing shin guards.
Soccer cleats are not required at this age. Athletic sneakers are appropriate.
Your child may wear long pants or shorts. We suggest dressing for the current weather.
It may be a bit cooler on the field, as they are wide open fields and can be breezy.
Soccer Tots registration fee is $105 for 8 weeks, field and weather conditions permitting.

Cancellation Policy
Refund requests will be taken prior to the first session.
After that, we will not issue refunds due to uniform, equipment, and administrative costs.
Donations are welcome and not refundable.
All registration fees are due at the time of registration.

Our association will be following Federal and NJ State guidelines concerning safety guidelines and protocols during the COVID-19 pandemic. The Safer Soccer Protocol below may be adjusted to follow CDC, State of NJ, and Federal guidelines at the time the program begins in the fall.
§ Those with a temperature of 100.4 degrees and above may not participate that day.
§ All sessions are outdoors for safer soccer
