Welcome to MLU Travel Tryout
You must register to attend a Travel Tryout. You must attend 1 tryout to be considered for travel team. Travel Tryouts schedule will be posted soon.
When is the travel soccer season?
Travel soccer season consist of 10 games in Fall (Sept-Nov) and 10 games in the Spring (March-May). Practices are 2 days a week and you MUST attend one practice.
What is the cost for Travel Soccer?
Full Season (U8-U14) $500, HS Spring only teams (U15-18) $350. These fees cover league and ref fees, field maintenance, and MLU Trainer cost. There will be additional team fees such as tournament and training cost. There will be an option to make 3 payments or pay in full option when you complete your registration. There is a $100 non-refundable deposit as Payment 1. Payment 2 is due August 1 and Payment 3 January 1.
*Except for players joining in the spring. The cost for Half Season (U8-U14) is $250. There is a $100 non-refundable deposit and can only pay in full to accept the invite.
Who is eligible to play travel soccer?
MLU is an open club-players in/out of town qualify to tryout. A player must be born in the year 2018 or earlier to try out for a travel team.
Can my player tryout out in the age group above?

Player who are 2020 (U7 August 1, 2019-July 31, 2020) Birth year players can tryout up one year with the U8 (August 1, 2018-July 31, 2019) but must go back appropriate birth year the following year.
What is travel commitment?
MLU Travel Soccer is a commitment for the full seasonal year (U8-U14). (U15-U18) High School teams will be based on league and tournament play.
When will I be notified if I make a team?
After tryouts are completed teams will be formed and you will be notified as to team placement by email whether they did or did not make a team. It may take several weeks for team formation to conclude. If your player is being placed on a team you will receive an invitation to join through the account you registered from at www.mlusoccer.org. You will click on ACCEPT OR DECLINE to respond to the invitation. You will complete the registration process and complete payment.

How do High School birthyear teams work?
High school team formation falls into two categories-full season play and spring only league play. Players who play in High School generally participate in spring league play. Players who do not play in high school generally play a full season. Team formation will be dependent on the who is interested for which teams.
Refunds
Refund requests may be considered under the following conditions:
Before the season begins: Partial refunds may be issued minus a non‑refundable administrative fee if the player withdraws prior to team formation or uniform orders.
After team formation or the start of the season: No refunds will be issued, except in cases of documented medical injury or relocation outside the area.
Travel program deposits: All travel deposits are non‑refundable once a player accepts a roster spot.
Uniforms and equipment: These items are non‑refundable once ordered.
All refund requests must be submitted in writing to the organization’s Board. The organization reserves the right to approve or deny any request at its discretion.
