We need your help!!  We need volunteers to help Mount Laurel United Soccer Club remain one of the best clubs around and a great place to play soccer.  

Over the years, our club has continued to grow and the help and volunteers has dwindled.  We realize part of this is due to the lack of asking and/or people not knowing where and how to help.  We also realize that people are busy with jobs, kids and other responsibilities and commitments.  However, if we want to continue to have a great club and keep the costs for families from escalating, we need volunteers.

Please join us on Thursday August 25th at 8:30 pm to hear more about opportunities and ways to get involved.  There is no obligation other than 45 minutes of your time which will include food and drinks.  

Before you say "I don't have time" I wanted to share a few example of roles you can get involved with and the amount of time it might take.  These roles do not have to mean attending board meetings or taking board positions but can be smaller in nature.  Here are a few examples:

• Field checker - check grass fields around 230pm (before school out) to see if they are playable (maybe a few hours of time all season)
• Volunteer coordinator for Columbus Day Tournament (help assign teams to volunteer roles for our fundraising tournament); some emails and maybe a few hours over the course of a 4 weeks prior to the tournament
• Columbus Day Tournament site coordinator (donate half or full day to helping a location ensure the day runs smooth.
• Recreation Soccer (Tots, Youth Development, etc) uniform coordinator - help organize and hand out uniforms at start of season.
• Open Board roles include community outreach, boys/girls travel director, fundraising coordinator and others.  More information can be shared

Most roles will have a little ramp up time for you and us to start, but should become very small part of your daily life once involved.  However, the impact can be tremendous.
