US Youth Soccer TOPSoccer (The Outreach Program for Soccer) is a recreational sports program for children and adults with intellectual, emotional, or physical disabilities that is offered only through local USYS-affiliated soccer clubs.

Program Details

Children with special needs, ages 5 to 18, from all area townships, are invited to participate as players. We welcome wheelchair participants to join us. Beginners welcome! 

MLU volunteer coaches run the TOPSoccer sessions and experienced soccer players as "buddies" for the disabled TOPSoccer participants,

providing one - on - one support. ALL participants MUST BE REGISTERED via the MLU website prior to participating in TOPSoccer (including players and buddies).

Buddies age 18 AND OVER and Coaches should register as volunteers and complete to following:

Coach Registration

TOPSoccer Coach Registration Link

SafeSport Training (must be dated after Jan. 1, 2023 )

Concussion Training (may be dated anytime) Complete Head Up Concussion Training

Buddy Registration

Buddies over the age of 18 should complete the TOPSoccer Coaches registration as above. As adults they are required to complete the same requirements as the coaches

Buddies 11 to 17 must register for the Buddies division

Buddies, ages 11 and up, who are looking to fulfill community service hours are welcome. We will provide community service verification letters.

Player Registration

Players age 5 to 18 must register in the players division.
